Hiking proposals Rosengarten and Latemar
| Flower-filled sloping meadows, lush pastures, dense silent forests and a fascinating mountain panorama. Added to this are numerous places to eat and stay, picturesque small churches and chapels, as well as idyllic villages that have lost nothing of their old-time charm. All of this can be found in the Rosengarten-Latemar region of the Dolomites - a unique plateau that offers something for everyone! For the hiker, there's a multitude of paths through the unspoilt, gently undulating landscape - or as an antidote to everyday life, you could try some physical exertion climbing the rocky crags and peaks. Open in all directions, an impressive all-round view of the grandiose mountains of the Dolomites unfolds in front of your eyes. The Rosengarten-Latemar holiday region has the densest network of hiking paths in South Tyrol. With 530 km of trails spanning all levels of difficulty, through forests, meadows and up into the mountains, this region is one of the best-loved hiking destinations in all of South Tyrol! For those of you for whom this might be a bit much, it is possible to take one of the many lifts up into the mountains too. And the hikers' bus travels several times a week through the region to help you explore every nook and cranny. For hikers there are countless, well maintained hiking trails that run directly from the hotel. The easy, leisurely walks, high mountain tracks or steep mountain paths around the Latemar or Rosengarten will make the heart of every hiker beat just that little bit faster. The chairlifts are a great help in getting you up the mountain, taking you to over 2,000 metres in just a few minutes.
